It's been a busy summer, but I'm glad to be able to add an updated blog... Lots of photography around Devon and Cornwall this summer. Yesterday was great fun, despite St Blazey's loss.
A warm, sunny day at Blazey Park greeted staff and players for the FA Vase match v Falmouth Town. A warm welcome greeted the players from both sets of fans, with the Falmouth fans making a brilliant atmosphere.
It was a close game, Falmouth took the lead with a poacher's effort then extended the advantage by a clinical finish into the far corner. Blazey had good opportunities, a fine save from the Falmouth keeper from a free kick kept a clean sheet for the half time interval.
The second half started evenly, Blazey with some good efforts but Falmouth nailed a third with a quick finish after some goalmouth 'pin ball'. Blazey pulled a goal back with a wonderful curling effort into the top corner.
Falmouth came off on top but both teams created a spectacle that gave the crowd a great show!
